    Poetry: I see Red Empty
    PostSubject: Poetry: I see Red   Poetry: I see Red EmptySun May 01, 2011 5:52 am

    Palpable whispers endure the air,
    Hissing ferocious - venomous - words
    Shrouding the escape of a poisoned mind
    To covert the truth of the outside world.

    Red; the color of discontentment,
    Blankets all light of hope and love;
    What is love, but a problematic sequence
    Of events that give despondency and woe.

    Permit the twilight presence to cover and lie,
    Protect, defend, offer bitter affection
    To those who's hearts cannot survive demolition
    Of absent devotion, long forgotten.
